Closing an award-winning year with NHS framework success

We’re excited to share that eskimosoup has added further professional recognition to what was already an award-winning year by becoming one of only a handful of companies accredited to NHS Commercial Solutions’ marketing framework.

Following a rigorous competitive tender, we became one of six agencies to secure approved status on all lots of the NHS Commercial Solutions’ framework. The accreditation means that eskimosoup is an approved supplier of social marketing services for the NHS to develop activities aimed at changing or maintaining people’s behaviour for the benefit of different population groups throughout the country. We were appointed to the framework in recognition for our experience and outcomes in using marketing to achieve positive outcomes for issues around emotional wellbeing, early detection of cancer and healthier lifestyle behaviours.

The news follows November’s recognition as Campaigns Director, Amy Knight, was awarded Young Achiever of the Year at the Hull Daily Mail Business Awards and John Gilbert recognition as Freelance Practitioner of the Year at the Association of Healthcare Communications and Marketing Awards. Having historically been bashful about our achievements, we have accepted that accolades are important to prospective clients seeking reassurance that we will do what we say we will! Although fronted by individuals; the awards are more accurately a reflection of the team effort underpinning eskimosoup as being trusted to help crack any social marketing challenge. Through working with NHS organisations and large health charities, such as the Movember Foundation, we’ve been able to deliver on our purpose in using creative marketing to achieve social good. It is within our plan to continue to grow the impact we are having nationally and therefore we are incredibly excited by the opportunities being on the NHS framework will present for us.

Having created two new full-time roles in 2017, we are anticipating further growth required to deliver on a range of market research and campaigns in the New Year.
