Feature-length documentary off to a flyer

We are very pleased to share that production of our first feature-length documentary, The Evolution of Yorkshire, is off to a cracking start and is attracting interest from several high-profile individuals and organisations wishing to lend their support.

The heart of the film is how Yorkshire as a people and a place has changed over time in order to help viewers feel good and inspired to make the most of opportunities worth pursuing.

This will be primarily told through the personal stories including, Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, former GB rugby league captain Jamie Peacock MBE and entrepreneur Dr Paul Sewell OBE, who is also an executive producer of the film.

There are several more incredible people to be interviewed in the coming weeks which will be shared across the Evolution of Yorkshire social media channels. We think you’ll be further impressed when more are revealed.

We also have some personal stories to follow; where individuals experiencing change are digging deep into their “Yorkshire grit” to achieve something meaningful for them.

It is an amazing project for our production to be a part of. Good people are very helpful when you ask in the right way. We are learning so much from participants that it is like an immersive learning experience from several sage Yorkshire folk.

eskimosoup is working with sister-company, Storyboard Media, following the success of productions including Vaping Demystified and Behind Alfie’s Story, which have received widespread national and international recognition.
