You Are Not Alone
You Are Not Alone was developed in response to the COVID-19 lockdown increasing risks of domestic violence and inhibiting victims reaching out for help. It was updated in the run-up to the dangerous Christmas period and additional lockdowns within the UK.
Developed in consultation with Domestic Abuse service professionals throughout the Humber region, the campaign emphasises that anyone can be affected by Domestic Abuse, regardless of gender or background, and should not be worried about seeking help. Other messages are aimed at perpetrators of Domestic Abuse, encouraging them to acknowledge their behaviour and seek help.
The campaign resonated with people throughout the area, in particular a reconstruction was co-written with a domestic abuse survivor and produced as a hard-hitting campaign film.
