We’re continually inspired by the number of young people who approach us for work experience in creating social impact. However, we’ve also been concerned that we simply don’t have the capacity to support them all.
To address this, and to ensure that our campaigns aimed at empowering young people are informed by their perspectives, we’ve created a Young Advisory Board. This group helps us better understand the issues affecting young people, co-create content, and support creativity across our projects.

Introducing Spark! – the identity and brand developed in collaboration with our young advisors. Over the next few months, we’ll be supporting them through regular meetings to set priorities around the social issues that matter most to them, a series of podcast discussions, and a “campaign in a day” challenge planned for this summer.
We’ve done similar work before through Got Your Back, which led to valuable skill-building, impactful experiences, new friendships, paid content creation, and even full-time job opportunities. We hope Spark! will deliver all that and more.
Spark! is still recruiting new members for the Board. So far, the group has proven to be open, welcoming, and collaborative. We’re committed to inclusion and diversity, though practically speaking, the initiative is best suited to young people in the UK aged 16 to 21. The Board is supported by senior team members, media creators, and youth engagement leads with the experience and expertise to help young people thrive.
We do our best to make this a positive and valuable experience—so please share this with any young people who might be interested. They can reach out to lola@eski.media for more information and an invite to come along to a meeting to see what you think.
