On World Kindness Day Eski has released a seventh episode of our drama series, Circle North, that explores this very topic to help reduce isolation amongst children and young people.

In “Kindness”, Phoebe feels isolated at school much to the amusement of the more confident Freddie and Poppy. Millie shares her own experience to convince her younger cousins that helping someone feel included is the best thing for everyone.
Through the film young people learn together how much better it is for everyone when they show kindness and compassion rather than isolating others and indulging in misguided “banter”.
We worked with young people on the message and wanted to appeal to bystanders who can make someone’s life a bit brighter.
It’s about creating positive role models and behaviours, and then opening discussions on how everyone wins when we’re kinder to each other. This will be rolled out into over 50 schools and seen by a lot of young people, so we hope it makes a positive difference!

Feedback: “I have just watched your film on kindness and have to say it’s probably the truest reflection of the type of bulling that actually goes on. Most film’s reference bullying as physical and relenting phone messages but this film shows exactly what goes on especially with girls!! Well done!!!”
